About Us

Edwin Suarez, PT

Our Owner and Founder, Edwin Suarez (“el jefe”), has one goal; to help people improve their quality of life through personalized physical therapy. His vision inspired Suarez Physical Therapy. The first clinic opened in 2008 and he has since expanded, opening four locations across the Las Vegas Valley. What sets our clinics apart from the rest is that we pride ourselves in offering a “care.experience” to every patient. This means that we will treat you like family. We strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible while you meet your goals and, we make sure you receive incomparable attention and care through your recovery. With our low clinician to patient ratio and personalized physical therapy treatments, Edwin feels that it’s the best opportunity for you to meet your goals.

His commitment to serving our community and his employees does not go unrecognized. In 2020 Edwin received the Nevada Small Business Award for Minority Owned Small Business of the Year. Jovita Carranza, Administrator for the US Small Business Administration wrote “Small businesses like yours are what drive our nation’s economy.” Edwin was also selected as the 2020 School of Integrated Health Sciences Alumnus of the Year by the UNLV Alumni Association. This award recognizes his contribution to society through his professional and personal achievements. Nonetheless, he continues to broaden his expertise and recently earned his Level 2 Functional Dry Needling certification. Jacob had doubts that he wouldn't be able to recover before the annual regional finals came. Thankfully, the school provided Physical Therapy, to which he was provided the care he needed. After just a week of therapy, he saw far more relief than in the past 3 years of his runs. The therapists gave him exercises, treatments, as well as modifications to his running technique and regime that made all the difference. Because of Physical Therapy, Jacob ran as a regional finalist for the 2019 NIAA 4A State Championships. Thus, the world of Physical Therapy sparked his interest and became a long-awaited career choice. Jacob became a licensed PTA, graduating from PIMA Medical Institute in 2024.

Testimonials

Here's what patients have to say about us:

The dream team! From the Physical therapists to the physical therapist assistants, to the massage therapists, to the front desk, everyone knows your name. I've been to other physical therapists and felt like I was just there to meet the bottom line but here's its truly different. Beyond the high patient care standards, they have helped me get my body back. By body I mean movement. As I've gotten older, I've had more musculoskeletal issues that have affected my movement and overall quality of life. Literally after only 1-month I'm feeling better / younger than I was 3 years ago. Thank you to the Suarez team for all you do!
